W211 Ambiant/Outside temp sensor

Hello,

My car thinks it is 85c all the time which indicates a broken/missing temp sensor.

I have had a good look around under the bumper near the left side fog light and no sign of it. My car doesn't have the undercover's in place so access is easy, but I cant see it anywhere!

Does anyone have a photo showing it clearly? My car bumper seems different to some I have seen. Others have a separate grill around the fog lights?

Mmmmh...think I have figured out where it should be off another forum...

It's missing with no trace!

Where should the wiring run from? I may need to wire up a new one.
