W211 courtesy light problem

On the passenger side when you pull down the sun visor the light is not working. I have changed the bulb but still no light.

I saw a post a year or so ago on this subject where someone changed a small section of wiring but have searched and cannot find it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Its the switch behind the mirror that needs replacing.

Part number: MA211 870 05 10 - Cost under £5.

I had exactly the same problem. Pop the mirror out, take the old switch out and install the new one in - Less than 15 minute job.
