W211 E270/E320 Mileage

Hello

A quick question, regarding the E270/E320 CDi.

Are there any known issues that spring up at certain miles?

Reason I ask is I have been offered a E270CDi with 145k - but apart from the Valeo issue, leaking injectors and worn suspension - anything I should look for?

Any input really appreciated.

I have worked on a few with 200+ with not many issues at all. The gerabox oil must be changed otherwise at 150k plus the gearchanges become a bit sloppy and the gear box will be worn by then.

It has half Merc/half specialist history, so I would hope between them it has been changed at some point, but it is something I will check has been changed previously (and will be changed again if I buy)

Interested in a 2004 E320 CDi from Belfast now, can anyone confirm the issues with the W211 Gearbox/Radiator/Coolant etc - is this still an issue on cars registered June 2004?

Also, is rust an issue on the 06/2004 models?
