Quick question and hopefully quick answer, do all torque converters have a drain. I can't seem to find mine !!

It is very unlikely that you have one.

Completed a filter and transmission fluid change on my e280 w211 year 2008 recently.
The torque converter did have a drain.
Good way to find out is to ask a dealer for new drain plug and gasket for your individual car. They are very cheap. Part number is probably MA 001 990 11 17

A 270 will have a 5 speed. They dont have a drain bung from factory.

Thanks black55 I would not know that, I was only referring to my own fluid change but may have given melhook misleading info.
