W211 E280 fluid top up ?

Hello, Can any one enlighten me to what the reservoir just above the oil filter is for. The filler cap has a small dip and currently my fluid is low. But can not find reference to it anywhere. Thanks in advance.

I think thats your power steering, it will be red oil if it is, beware cold and hot tempeture marks on dip stick, its auto gearbox oil but check your handbook before topping up to make sure its the right stuff..
