W211 E500 Simota Carbon Induction Kit?

Hi, I was wondering whether any of you have had experiences or similar experiences with after market Induction kits on a W211 E class?

I drive an E500 (306bhp) and am interested in a Simota Carbon Induction Kit. I know most Induction Kits are designed to give the vehicle a sportier sound, but Simota claim to improve performance with this kit.

Is this true?
