w211 pulls to the left - the saga continues

nothing visible, the bodywork looks okay. but i`ll ask my guy to check the rear too when i see him next.
You are in a tough position , because reputation wise there is no one better I’ve ever heard of on the forums than WIM/Protyre Chesham .

Hi - When I bought my W211 it pulled to the left slightly, had some uneven tyre wear and also slowed down quicker when left to coast. My local specialist in Bedford replaced the front tortion arms and upper ball joints. That worked for me.

thanks Paul. so now when you let go the steering wheel you car goes straight the back of the car in front (no, not literally :) ) and won`t wander off?

Does any car do that?....they should slowly follow the camber to the side of the road when you let go of the wheel if everything is as it should be. But you should not be able to notice any pull to the left with hands on the wheel.

In my experience Mercedes are the hardest cars to get aligned so that they drive without any pull to the left. Not had the same problems with BMW/VAG/Lexus/Toyota cars.
