W211 Service E cost?

My 2004 E320 with 40,000 miles is showing as Service E due in 29 days. just wondering is anyone knows a rough price that this service will cost and what kind of work it includes.

Have a look in the service book. What iss needed at what miles is in there. Cost depends on what is needed.

Go to an indie, or try Autocentre/Halfords/one of the chains that do servicing - a lot of it is just routine checks - time as opposed to parts - mine didn't cost more than a couple of hundred.

Please don't go to the big chains like the above. They do not know the cars as well as specilaists or dealers do.

I doubt they even have means to check the transmission fluid level.
