Hi all
Bit of advice please
I am looking at swapping my leather steering wheel for a wood/leather one - question is, do I have to disconnect both batteries or just the main one and if I do this will I still have to reset the airbag light
Thanks

Rather than getting another leather one, you might want to look at retrimming your existing one. Royal steering wheels are good, cost just £150 for mine to be customised to my specification. Smooth Nappa top/bottom + perforated leather sides.

Whilst this is a very nice looking steering wheel, can you not find an aftermarket one in Germany or similar, by the time you have paid the postage and then the Customs Duty and VAT, it is going to be a very nice expensive steering wheeel. (Up to you of course how you wish to spend your hard earned dosh )
Or if Abs suggestion of a retrim of your own is not want you want, then there should be some reasonable wood and leather ones in the breakers or on Ebay, perhaps off of an Avantgarde, to fit your car.

Steve.

I did search around as particularly want wood and the condition of most was poor (and the price was high) - I did negotiate quite a discount on the one I posted, so not too unhappy with price (plus I can sell my old leather one for a few quid)

You wait all year then two threads the same come along. Thank goodness for Killerhertz!
