W211 wing mirror replacement instructions?

Managed to clip my passenger wing mirror and smash the indicator, and ever since the auto dipping and memory position doesn't quite work.

Mentioned this to the dealer, who of course said I needed an entirely new mirror at £340 ex painting or fitting

So luckily managed to find one on Breakerlink, which will be with me in the morning.

Has anyone replaced one and can tell me how, or have a link to instructions?

The plastic cover on the top corner of the doorcard simply snaps off. Get your fingers under a corner and prise carefully. Trace the mirror wires to the door module and unplug.

Check the condition of the wires inside the mirror on the replacement.
