Following on from my other thread I'm now just trying to determine what exactly should have been changed on a 2007 car with 39.5k on the clock apart from normal servicing items.

I know the brake fluid was changed in 2009 so I'm assuming this will need doing again sometime soon. Also, am I right in thinking the auto transmission fluid will need replacing at 40k or does that not apply to this model?

Thanks

Thought so, appreciate the quick reply.

no worries...
Get someone reliable to do it; they are to be done in a very controlled way and need to make sure filter seals etc are done too.
if you don't have anywhere; try Ollie at PCS? people on here swear by him...
I'm a lil bit **** about the ATF and Turbo as these are the Achilles heel of the 211 and need to be mothered and fussed over...

Enter the details in the Electronic Service Sheet (ESS) section:

Mercedes-Benz ESS

As said above. ATF is due at 37.5K.

You can go through the menu on the dash to find out how long the car thinks till the next service. It will also report the letters A through H which basically indicates (A = 1 hrs, B = 2 hrs, C = 3 hrs ... and so on) how long the car thinks the service should take.

The ESS sheets will state a A or B service which is simply minor or major and bears no direct relationship to the stupid letters reported by the car.

It'll be for the dealer to do before the car is delivered. Unfortunately my folks (who've just bought the car) live in Sunderland so Ollie will be a bit too far away.

I will be asking for recommendations a little closer to them in due course.
