Morning Chaps, need some advice

Is there a DIY about on how to change the tail lights on a W212 E Class, I stupidly reversed into a bollard, the passenger side tail light has cracked as a result, I need advise on how to remove the boot trim and get to the tailight

Much appreciated

Cheers

Have you had a look?

Usually on MB you have access to the rear of the cluster for changing lamps. There you may see 3 or 4 nuts which hold the cluster in place. After all...it's not rocket science.

I did, I could see two, got the nuts off, but the tail light wouldn't budge, I guess there are more bolts holding it beneath the boot liner, any advice on how to get the boot trim off ? Thanks

With a torch look all over the side panel in the boot, and remove all the clips (near the top) and the luggage net / tie-down points at the bottom.

Also, look at the trim over the rear boot edge. You probably have to remove that too - it will have some bolts or nuts near the bottom, then it pulls upwards (hard).

Then the side carpet will come out. You will find there is a nut/bolt at the end of the light that is nearest the front of the car too.
