s320cdi 2003MY facelift
Hello All
I have a UK Spec 2003 Facelift S320CDI LWB, loving it so far however have come across another problem of late...

The waterpump was leaking from the gasket so I fitted a new waterpump, thermostat and temp sensors. I've still got the Coolant Visit Workshop error and have noticed that the engine fan has stopped working.

BTW the waterpump, thermo etc are all working as expected, temp is displayed as it should so i'm confident the sensors and contacts are OK.

Also, all connectors have been checked but still to no avail; the engine fan does not work at all with or without the AC on; short of plugging into a diagnostic machine what troubleshooting steps should I follow?

The fan is plugged in, the wires and connectors dont look corroded etc.

I need some help!

The fan will have failed

Thanks - is there any specific part of the fan that will have failed, e.g., a controller or is the whole unit generally replaced on its own?

BTW i'm in harrow too, perhaps I should pop in some time!

Had a W220 320 petrol and the radiator fan hardly ever worked, the temperature had to be almost up to the red before it started. Maybe you new parts are now working properly:D
