I've got to replace the N/S/F lower wishbone for a friend. How does the Airmatic strut disconnect from the arm ?
Is it held in place by the 2 grub screws ? If so once they are undone how does it seperate from the arm ?

It just falls out with a bit of a tap from a hammer.

The grub screws often seize in so have to be drilled out.

Thanks Black55, I have read a bit of liberal heating helps. Hope they dont seize, doing it for a friend could do without the hassle.

If you think your Allen key is going to snap stop and drill it out as it makes it all the more difficult trying to drill round a piece of hardened steel.

I replaced the front discs, front pads and rear pads. I had the car on a 2 poster ramp. Now it's saying ' airmatic fault ' visit workshop. Is there a simple reset procedure ?
Any help much appreciated
