Wanted rear TV screen for W211

Say's it all really...

Wifey wants to watch TV rather than talking to me (Which I think is an advantage) And seeing as I can't (at the moment for legal reasons) enable the front screen, then the only option is to stick her and the screen in the back

Cables with it would be a distict advantage, as I make mistakes ordering things

Have a browse in Ebay there are always varying small lcd screens with cables for sale. My mate got one for his BMW which he easily linked into his head unit all for under £70 so his kids can watch the Tweenies.

Thanks I have been looking, just not too sure what does and does not work with my Comand, not only that, the cables and numerous adapters that would be required. It's a veritable mine field!

If you have TV tuner then you can probably have also a rear screen. If you dont then its possible you need a COMAND exchange.

Steve is the only person that gives decent trades on COMAND for the combination unit of rear-screen and COMAND (if needed).

Well the tuner is another matter, I just bought one from Ebay that may or may not be the right one. Tried a PM to BigSis, but it seems they only fit what you buy from them!! So that dumped me in the brown stuff right off.
Hoping someone can suggest someone else ..

If I remember correctly "stevebcs" had a rear screen fitted in his W210 E-class may be he can help.

I'd love to help, but my set up only worked with the W210 comand 2.0 & MB TV tuner - the kit was actually from an S class.

The new 211 TV tuners are totally different & so wont be compatable with my Rear screen .. which is still for sale bye the way if anyone is interested.

Typical, I would have had that off you. Still hoping someone can help with the install of the tuner.
