Water like substance on driveway

any chance in the pipe line for making a car run on urine?
I have worked out a chemical equation and it seems feasible even though it may involve loads of exothermic reactions .
the co2 by product might be harmful to the environment as well.

The technical formula is known as K9P

Coolant tastes sweet and bitter after.

(I drink it when I run out of booze) lol

Hi Malcolm
It's lovely mixed with orange juice.
:bannana::bannana::bannana::);)

As you say Malcolm
Joking aside not to be played about with I think the sun has gone to my head with a joke like that.
Keep smiling:(

ok - back on topic. seems to be water from what i can tell, from somewhere near the rear of the engine. fresh drops were noticed when i started it up and moved it slightly....any ideas??? the original stuff noticed yesterday has evaporated.

Coolant is lethal to drink:eek:

Depends on the type of antifreeze used.

EDIT:
Mono Propylene glycol isn't toxic.
I buy it for an application but not the car as it's dearer. Ok, I use it to stop my beer freezing in a typical English summer...

All of the heater pipes pass behind the engine, on the 210 there is a metal pipe that rust through, though I have not heard of it on a 202.

Leaking areas sometimes show up with green deposit around the joints, putting you fingers under every connection may find a wet area.

When the engine is running the fan will blow the water further back than where the leak is.

Jack one side of the car up and put axle stands under, with a torch maybe you can see what is wet

It still could have been rainwater trapped inthe plenum if the drains are blocked, which is a good possibility on a w202.

If it was coolant it would leave a stain and the level would go down in the header tank.
Have a look around, check the level and drains then monitor.

It was also used to sweeten some Italian ?? wine a few years ago. Good job it was found...

Yes I remember that, when having a bad day, maybe I should try drinking some of the things that I have stored here like thinners, hardeners, retarders, matting and flexi agents

Just as a side issue, you should never get diesel on your skin, as it is absorbed into the blood stream

this is what I said yesterday, thats even easier to find as the 2 drains are just level with the floor of the car underneath

I thought the problem was high pressure injection systems could blast it through the skin into the bloodstream, and of course the standard dermatological issue, which incidentally is a greater risk from petrol and many other solvents as they strip the grease from the skin more effectively.

Of course best practice is to always wear gloves when refilling with diesel...but at least you can breathe. When filling with petrol the Benzine percentage goes well above safe levels...benzine is a carcinogen.

I was not so aware of the dangers until I moved to Sweden, where I nearly got shot for cleaning my hands with diesel, sadly the lecture that I got was in Swedish, and I had not learnt any at that point in time. I was not allowed to charge a car battery in the building
