Hi just brought a 2010 c250 sport in silver just looking what the best wax to use
Any would be grateful for your feedback
Andy

More about the prep than the wax to be honest.

Sealants tend to look better on silver but you have got to love wax!

I really like ODK Sterling, you can buy small sample pots from a site called:-

www.sample-this.co.uk

Glamour is also good but slightly less durable.

You can get 50ml pots and its either 200 or 250ml from a few places like bearseaxfactory.co.uk

I've only tried Dodo Juice waxes - still that impressed that I don't feel the need in trying anything else. Something like Dodo Juice Supernatural should keep you more than satisfied both with the looks & water sheeting ability.

Ok the supernatural dodo juice can is be used on any colour thinking off doing my daughters car as well
Andy

Yes any colour car for lighter colours they do light fantastic which is good on silver car's.

Tony.

Ok am I right in saying they do a hard candy in dodo juice what do you guys think of that ?

Yes they do - its one of the rarer waxes, I've never tried it but the general reviews/desire for product seems positive. Purple haze is really well regarded, although recommended for darker colours, I don't think it would be any worse off on a light coloured car.

Supernatural seems to be one at the top of the range, with the supernatural range relating to completely natural - no additives, no colouring, no scents etc, I also think it has the highest carnauba wax content.

Where did you bring it from? :o

I think he was pointing out the fact you said brought rather than bought

I'd use fk1000p on silver it always looks good. That or Jetseal 109 in two layers.

Today i used supernatural (with a D/A) on the bonnet of my truck and nearly had a shunt watching the beading on the way home....My bad:fail
If your local to me i would happily let you have a borrow of supernatural and lightfantastic if it would help.

Tony.
