Just got my car back from Terry at Wayne Gates in Harrow, who did my dreaded blown head gasket on my w124 E220 .

The car engine runs and sounds like its from the show room

Very reasonably priced and a very good clean job.

I shall be seeing you soon again Terry and thanks again for the lovely job.

as a matter of interest, what does it cost to do a head gasket on one of those now?

You are looking at about £900-£1000, all in, assuming no cracked head gasket or other nasty surprises.

We have just done one too. It needed a new engine loom as well.
