Today I was cruising on M1 southband,when suddenly W201 cut across all three lanes stopping on the hard shoulder.The car in front slammed the brakes,which I didn't expect .I slammed on mine ,but was obvious that I was going to ram the car in front so swivelled to the hard shoulder missing him within inches.Then when we moved again saw the culprit-the front offside suspention arm ball sprang out of the socket.Never have seen anything like this when car is driving on strait line.
