What postcode did you add for these? most say 1mile away

I used my home postcode doing a national search £2k to £3k and then chose to list the results price high to low. I don't normally bother with the distance option in AutoTrader.

When I posted the link, I edited the URL (removed the search criteria & my postcode etc). This still allows the link to work but makes it easier for people to see the links.

For some reason when you do this it shows the distance as being one mile. I think the Manchester one (C280) bizzarely displays it as 31 miles???

I'm in Surrey and there's no way Manchester's 31 miles away!

If they were that close I'd be over there checking them all out for you now

Just got back from viewing this, horrible!

No rear bootlock (just a hole!), rusty wheelarches, front bumper sticking out on 1 side - had a bang, chips and scratches.

Horrible, just goes to show you cant trust the pictures alone!

Your right photo's can be misleading.At first glance this car looks very clean and the engine certainly so,but supersize the pics and there is a fair amount of rust on the N/S wheelarch and bubbling around the bootlock.There's bound to be more on close inspection.

Hope you didn't have to travel too far to view that one. Like you say the pictures can cover / mis-represent a lot!

Trouble is, I only know 3 people with cars and its difficult to get them to drive across county due to work etc.
