So, firstly the 3D Surround Sound. I personally think that's just down to demand. Similar options on other models don't sell at all, so I think MBUK decided not that take that option. I'm sure there's development costs tuning it for RHD and they clearly don't think the demand is there

I believe you can't have the performance seat because of the active side bolsters you get in the DAP. If you have the DAP and someone hits the side of your car, the bolsters push you into the centre of the car, away from the impact. That function isn't possible with the performance seat

I'd be well surprised if there was another car between the GT-R/GTC and the Black Series. Can't think of anything else they'd do.. My fingers are crossed. Don't even know if I have an allocation yet to be fair. Just asked for my name to be down on the list.

As I said, it's not confirmed and the numbers aren't either. Nobody has an allocated car yet. That's very unlikely to happen in the near future. Just keep your fingers crossed

Hey JDB - after your advice please. I placed an order for an E350e back in June as a company car, but it has been on back-order ever since - with no indication of when a slot will be confirmed. Apparently it's a restriction on the engines, but the dealer can't give any more info.

When I placed the order, I was given an ETA of September, but now they just don't have any idea or confidence the order can be met. Do you have any insight into the production problems for this model, and when build slots do become available, are retail customers given priority over fleet? I've been told by my scheme that they can get available build slots for the 530e for January delivery and I am tempted to switch because of a complete lack of any info coming out of MB.
