Hi all what would be the best Mercedes car club, for me and my CLK 320 rag top to join, for events like meets car shows ETC. I have had the car now for 18 months only use it in dry weather , but yet to go to a merc meeting in it. I live in Chalfont bucks. Thanks in advance

If you want events then you should join the Official Mercedes Benz Club.
If you want get togethers then this forum or the other one have regular informal meets.

The events with the Mercedes Club are planned, structured and organised as opposed to meetings in pub car parks..

Depends what you want.

I have joined Mercedes-benz-club.co.uk after reading on here about a W124 meet that looked excellent. Also as a member, you are given you access to the EPC via the MB club in Germany, Which is good for me. I haven’t managed to use it yet as I’m waiting for my membership card to come from Germany.

Informal meets in country pub sounds good,. where do i find one in my area south bucks

The official Mercedes-Benz Club has the best of all worlds. Monthly informal regional meetings, a huge range of well organised events, an excellent monthly magazine, free M-B Classic magazine three times a year, a good garage guide, free technical advice, free EPC access, discounts aplenty on a whole range of products and a lot more. The best £30 I spend every year.

Forum members tend to be quite proactive in organising these things. If you have a local venue in mind (usually a pub with a decent car park) then you could post a thread in the Events section and see what interest it garners. We have some sociable members in the South Bucks area, so give it a whirl.

This one! Wonderful place! :)
