What other hobbies except Cars???

Just wandering what everybody gets up to when there not playing with there cars? Me I keep a Reef Tank and like to go snorkeling on holidays.

Thats a great looking fish tank.
I Run a cricket club, play hockey, Shoot, Photography, Ski, Golf, Waterski when I have the time to take the boat out.
Most of that takes a back burner though as this takes most of my time!

Yeah , if i'm honest it's beginning to outgrow the tank ....

Luckily , i have a large new one in the garage , but as i'm sure you know what it's like , i'm dreading the swap-over and setup !

The toadstool ( sarcophyton ) in the front is about 14 inches across , it grew from a frag about 1/2 an inch round !

im a diy maniac.. like 24/7.

go skiing 4-5 times a year, once out doors, other times to dubais indoor ski resort when im in dubai..

and im an entrepreneur by trade and in my opinoon, as one of my greates hobbies - at mo launching a new cafe lounge in nw London.. will pass details once launched if all goes to plan...

I'm into hi-fi and photography , and spend quite a lot of time on my computer .

and would like to get another caravan within the next year or two so we can take our new son in it .

Well ...

We have 6 Border Collies, so are competing at Agility shows most weekends and training two nights a week. I also instruct and judge, and teach/examine instructors and instruct/examine/assess judges! I'm the current Chairman of the national body that started the sport off in the late 70s / early 80s.

Mrs BTB has competed in Agility at Crufts twice, I'm judging there in 2012 (appointment booked in 2007!).

Been into photography for a very long time. Still a keen snapper.

Interested in planes/flying for a very long time. Flown r/c models since the 70s, used to compete a fair bit till the dogs took over! Still a registered instructor and examiner for the national body, mostly fly lightweight electric planes & helis now

Combined the photography and r/c to do a little commercial aerial photography in the 80s

(Yes that's what I looked like then!)

Got some other time-stealers too

Apart from cars...motorbikes, anything with an engine basically. Got 1 project bike on the go, and another inbound.

Shooting, but that's taken a back seat lately due to time constraints. Barely finding able to keep up the spare time tech stuff either, it's taking me 2-3 weeks to find enough time to repair kit I could previously turn out in 2-3 days.

Oh, and sorting the house out. Thankfully, I have a low-maintenance cat.

If MBCLUB PEEPS are watching, please consider non MB Club services, as we are all fanatic members of mercedes, but does that mean we have to be a supplier or involved in that specific supply chain.

I dont think so, we have a diverse back ground of opportunities and skills, that we as trusted members of the forum should be allowed to offer our services for a strong discount to members, not a 5% crappy one, but 15% + where we offer a genuine huge discount for our fourm friends..
