What's this Bull?

This is true. Maybe I should get an AMG plaque for the dash. That would knock a grand off the price straight away! :D

Before buying my current E-Class, I went to have a look at an 'AMG factory conversion' E320 cdi. It looked well to be fair, but when I remarked to the owner that there is no such thing as an 'AMG 320 cdi' he blew a fuse and we had a stand up row about it! 'It's got the AMG plaque and everyfink' he said.
Because it had a ten bob plaque, AMG badges etc puchased from ebay he thought he could pass it off!

Hey, it has also got "HDI" lights :D did they nick them of a Peugeot ?

those plaques are/were available on ebay. i considered 2 of them when i had my CLK to cover up the side indicator holes when i considered retrofitting the blinker mirrors. i got different exterior AMG badges in the end instead...

Anyone who buys that will have a nightmare of a job getting that plaque off .... it will tear the dash , the sticky on the back is so strong.

My old w124 had one and i made inroads into prising it off , but the fabric of the dash started to rip so i left it.

An Ebay plaque does not an AMG make.

Take off the plaque and the AMG badge, lower it and I think you have got a nice looking car.

Really can't see the point of pretending to have an AMG.

i wonder if it would get fired off the dash if the airbag deployed??? i like the wheels though..

No , it's not on top of the deployment hatch.

Wheels are nice if your first name is 'Fiddy' :)

To be fair to the seller nowhere in the advert text does it pretend to be a AMG car or special edition at that.

It does looked well looked after and tidy so ignor the £20 worth of AMG badge it is probably a good car?

not my cupa (only the wheels I'm not sure about...)

The seller chose to take a nice close up of the AMG plaque though!
