What's this CE worth?

I'm in the market for my favourite Merc, the old CE. I spotted this one on ebay.

What do you reckon it's worth? There's one near me that's up for sale @ a silly £5000.

This one looks nice and clean but It's hard to guage the value of these - anyone any pointers?

280s are ruthless when it comes to MPG, and watch out for leaky cam boxes...

Give it needs at least some body work:

"The main areas are the front wings which are starting to bubble along their top edge (bolt on replacement) and the passenger side rear arch."

About £500 if it's not rotten (check the inner sills!)

They're not too bad on juice.

I've had a few in the past and got ok(ish) mpg.

I might have a drive to Hitchin over the weekend to take a look.

I got 25mpg out of my last one.

Hard to value a very old car on a couple of grainy photos. Anything from nothing to a couple of grand I suppose. I'm thinking nearer the lower end based on the description.
