I've had it once, but only once, when one of the four wheels didn't need any balance weights when four Michelins were fitted. I spotted it immediately and the fitter confirmed it. It's unusual but not unknown.
I used to work at a tyre fitting company many years ago and when fitting new Michelins we used to put a 5 gram weight opposite the valve to pacify the customer that the wheel/tyres are balanced. They did not need any weights added as were they were not out of balance. It was only Michelins that were manufactured this way.
Are you sure the weights are not on the inside and not visible? I ask because I once asked my local garage to ensure that the weights are not on the outside and the girl sounded vey hurt when she said that they NEVER fit the weights so they are visible.

Nope definitely not on the inside, did a thorough check with a torch.
The other 3 tyres two have weights on inside of the barrel, and one outside, this was the same company which originally did balancing on all four wheels after I had them refurbished by their alloy refurb company.
Just fyi when my wheel weights fell off I had no vibrations but a slight pulling to one side. Most told me it was tracking but both front wheels were out and once balanced the car no longer pulled to the left

At the moment no vibration or pulling, so it may seem that it didn’t need balancing, bit who knows, will give them a call, and if need be go back and let them check it, just for piece of mind.
