Hi just went to fit some amg alloys to my 2004 clk and the wheel nuts seems to be too long. Does anyone know what size I would need? The bolts I have at the moment are the standard ones half threads half smooth. Thank you

If they are m12 they will be M12x1.5 length 61mm, thread length 20mm

If they are m14 the should be M14x1.5 length 49mm thread length 26mm

If steel wheels, they will be m12x1.5 length 40mm thread length 19mm

Hope this helps

Sorry what does the m12 m14 mean? I also notice on the amg the bolt holes are alittle wider, would it still be ok once bolts on. The alloys are the ones in picture

The bolt which is on the car are half smooth and half threaded. I just check mine m12x1.5 and the ones for the wheels are 14x1.5
If I get shorter bolts will it be ok or there be too much play??

You need to have the correct bolts for safety - you don't want a wheel departing at speed!
These people really know their stuff and will be able to supply the correct bolts.

If your runing m12 bolts you wont be able to fit m14 ones, as the bolt will be too wide ie 14mm instead of 12mm where it screws into the Hub.
