I'm thinking about getting my wheels refurbed as they are curbed and lacquer peeling mainly around the centre.

The wheels are diamond cut finish at the moment.

1) If I have them refurbed with a diamond cut finish again, will they end up in the same state quicker than if I had them painted.

2) would panting them look wrong/bad, it is a cheaper option and I guess it would be more durable, and could be repaired without doing the whole wheel?

3) if painting is there an exact colour that would look right?

4) can anyone recommend a good place for decent money, I'm in Leicester?

Theoretically no, they should last just as long, though I know that my local wheel place will not guarantee diamond cut wheels as peeling does occur unfortunately.

Painting can look good, especially when done to a high standard and should last a long time, though don't discount powder coating which, in reality, should last even longer.

The colour is only limited by your imagination, you can have anything you want really. Keeping them silver is a safe option, though there are allsorts of darker shades which may suit your car. Try photo shopping a few to help you decide. My car is Palladium Silver which is a shade or two lighter than yours and I have black wheels with a silver rim. Some like them, some don't. Entirely an individual choice, though one you'll have to live with for a while so don't go too far overboard. :)

Sorry, don't know anyone that way on.

Hope this helps a bit. :)

Gavtastic, if you continue posting like that you'll have all 24 posts removed without trace.

If you wanted your posts to last so that pepole Googling the company name can find them, then one post would suffice and would have a better chance of surviving moderation by admins...
