As the above. I am having trouble sourcing some for a reasonable price without buying 200 litres.

Costco is about the best for small quantities. £24 for 4 litres.

It's allegedly much cheaper in France - maybe you could pop across? :)

Hello,

I thought costco was meant to be quite cheap...

I'm off to france tomorrow..but not bring oil back....wine and beer quite possibly...

Ohh. Had not thought of that

...and that's including VAT!!

£20 plus VAT per 4 litre container.

Costs about £20 plus VAT to join though.

Costco is the cheapest place in the UK.

You are right about France and with Le Mans weekend approaching fast, it's always worth stocking up when over there.

As others said, costco is the cheapest in the UK at £19.95+VAT.

Bobby; Costco membership has gone up; its £25+VAT for an individial membership, and a bit less for a corporate.

If you're popping over to france for wine, grab a few cans there - there is ALWAYS free space :p (May I recomend the space in front of the passenger seat? :p As airline companies taught us, leg room is a bonus)

Popped into my local tyre and battery shop and had Mobil 1 and filter supplied and fitted (including labour and VAT) for £24.95.

Not bad considering my car takes something like 6 litres of the stuff.

I saved money and didn't get my hands dirty :D

Main dealer charges £7 for a litre.
ATS tops up mobil 1 for free (up to 1 litre)!:bannana:

Best thing for you then C55 is to join Costco ...

Get in the Caddy and go and buy a s**tload of it ..... that will offset the cost of joining ...

Good luck chap !!

Hope to see you at the barbie ....

Driving the Caddy more than 10 miles is deafaning. 70mph is a struggle (4spd). I drove it to Ikea the other day 4hrs total driving. Drove me insane.

The nearest costco is miles away I think.

Open day dates will be posted soon.

£15 for 4 litres is what i paid in france when i last went, came back with 16 litres of the stuff!

Wow, that is almost the same price as the US, unfortunately I had no luck finding any during my short visit. Where abouts did you get yours?
