which bulbs for headlights

Heybguys my 1992 500sl lights aren't very bright and shine a little more yellow. What do you recommend as a replacement for it. Something I could buy from Halfords or similar place
I just want more visibility

Any of the high output bulbs should be an improvement, they all have a shorter life expectancy over the conventional bulbs though.

It might be worth checking the voltage at the headlamp, poor connections can cause this to drop and give poor light output, also check the condition of the earth connections and the lens and reflector in each lamp as yellowing of the lens or dulling of the reflector can cause poor performance.
