Which Comand Disc for CL55 AMG

Hi All,

I'm after a Comand DVD navigation disc to upgrade mine from 2007 (to about 2009 -2010). I'm not sure how to find the correct part number for the disc as there are many of them about.

I have the older comand with the nav processor in the boot.

Any help will be much appreciated!

You need the NTG1 comand disk for W219/W215/W220/R171/W211. Its about £215 before discount

I was hoping to get an older second hand disc for a little bit less than that

Just wondering, why is the map upgrade disc so much? i.e. compared to the price of the whole sat nav unit (which is circa £1k I believe on new cars)

I know map data is not cheap, but £200 + for just updates seems a bit much!

M-B have to buy the mapping data in from a 3rd party. Then the production/distribution costs for the physical disc on top of that, plus some profit margin.

It is steep, compared to a £40 (approx.) download for a TomTom.
