Which exhaust?

Which exhaust system is best for my E55? I don't want anything loud or raspy, just something to let the V8 sing its song better. Also nothing that drones!

I have a hearing disorder hence why I don't want drone or loudness. Thanks.

Remove the secondary cats and resonator and put in a x-pipe. Not intrusive and its more vocal when on the throttle. Coincidentally Imran at MSL can do it for you. Takes about 3 hrs and its approx £450.
If that turns out too quiet, C63/CLS55 rear mufflers will do it.
If its still not enough, Kleemann headers which are pretty expensive.

Cheers. Would C63 boxes on their own not be good enough?

I think the secondary cats have already been removed.

Re the headers, I am sure I saw some other ones?
