Which HPI check

Morning all,

does anybody have any recommendations about which on-line HPI check is best to use. Do I get anything better by paying £10 rather than£3.95??

in fact mycarcheck.com answers my question...they offer 3 different levels from £3.95 to about £15.... but is it worth it??

Some offer 7-days of free insurance and a warranty that should their advice turn out to be wrong they'll refund you the car cost...

dont go for a cheap one, those normally tell you there is something wrong and you have to pay £X to find out...

Experian is what the trade use.

I used the one on ebay when I bought my kompressor. Seemed good value.

HPI do a 'multicheck' effectively bulk buying HPI reports. Some people put these on ebay & will HPI the car on your behalf, emailing the HPI report to you. OK it's not as instant as doing it online yourself but you do get a genuine HPI report that includes outstanding finance which the cheaper reports don't!
