Which is the best colour for a Benz?

Red is a strange one for MB

Red to me looks OK on an A class, looks fine on a SLK
but looks wrong on a S class or E class.
C class in red seems to be borderline.

I guess bigger the car, the less well it looks in red

EDIT/ I mean solid, non-metallic red

No offence Pringles, but I don't agree that silver looks good on a W214. It somehow in my opinion cheapens the look of the car. An estate 124 in silver from a distance looks almost like the old Volvo V70.

I personally think the darker the colour on a 124 the better, all except black due to the high maintenance of it, (trust me I owned a black 124 for 5 years and I cleaned it more than I drove it!!!)

A dark colour like on Dave's 124 gives it a classy look and if it doesn't look modern then so what its W124, it has timeless appeal anyway.

Whoa, stop there, take a look at kickkthekat 124 coupe. One VERY nice looking car. Or my 200T (well ok it needs working on but when its shiny it looks nice from a distance, or hows about andy k's estate, that looks good too)

I agree the 124 looks fine in red that era red was 'in'
the old 500SLs were all red then 'Steve Austin' the Six Million Dollar Man had one 'I think' and I had a Polistil toy one! .. slightly off topic.

The new 500SL looks odd to me in red, but colour is subjective.

Some cars definitely look good in red like Ferrari, Dodge Vipers, Lambo Contach, Mazda MX5
