Which will be fastest?!

With all these contacts we have on here now, I think we need an exclusive MBClub meet again, just to have a go at the full 2 mile straight (with the run up around the corner this time).

Brilliant idea.

Need approx 40 people to make it happen, at £150 each. Thats of course if Brunters have a day free, and are willing for us to use it.

I'm a deffinate yes.

Matt, have you sorted your torbo prob's

Regards Mark.

Being honest, I can't warrant £150 for it, so I would be out.

so, i have just found out that for £1250+vat i can have the scumbag chariot upped to 400bhp and the torque to around 650nm! plus de-restriction,

so the question is...........................? do i?

i should still sell it really!

Yes, I recon you should. Then come to Germany with me and Scott on the 24th July blasting across Autobahn's and the 'ring, and see if you can tempt me to buy it ;)

It may take a few laps of the 'ring mind ;) :D

I would suggest Scumbag clinches the deal before you start the first lap.

kind of occurs to me that you need to keep yours. My reasoning is simple. You will get married and have children and you will need a car with seats in the back.

where as being a free spirit like me, enjoying my youth etc, i think its the perfect car until such times as i need extra seats.

there, if that isnt temptaion to buy it now while you have chance, i dont know what is????? summers coming, you still want to be couped up in that tin can listening to the muted sounds of that engine, whilst everyone outside gets the benefit?????

and my car is such a girls car, that your lady can also drive it! see just how easy life is when you are as simple as me? and if i was to get it upped a bit, it may well take yours on, in its own right. 400bhp pushing 1.5tonnes along with the 7 gears it will certainly take off from the line well. mind you, needs grippier tyres. and all that without need of any type of forced induction. the purists V8.

:D :D :D

Oi Scumbag is this an SLK only thing or for any 55?

Any details much appreciated......

Cheers,
Adam.

I'd probably come along in something or other.

The track part would be fun in the Mini. Could always rent something fast....

my understanding is that the 360-367bhp 55's can be rasied to 399bhp. the older ones supposedly only make 382bhp with the ECU remap. i dont know why all this is like it is.

My price is from DMS. the superchip variant is cheaper but not up to the same fiddling. It does appear that it is a replacement ECU but i cant see how this would work, as the car seems to use the ECU for loads of stuff.
