Im going to attempt to take the fuel line off to replace o ring , how does the connecter come out , and do i push the white clip in or out and then wiggle the connecter while pulling ?

I can't understand why people are bothering to replace just the rings... A full set of pipes is less than the cost of a tank of fuel and just not worth skimping on. The pipes go hard, the clips are super fragile.

If the pipes have gone hard and yellow they are for the bin only!

jayman I think I only need 1 pipe and connecters , can I buy just 1 or do I have to buy the whole set , and sods law the 1 that I think needs replacing is the 2nd 1 down and I cant get to it , its a bit awkward

Pipes can be bought seperately with o rings fitted from MB,o rings kits are available on ebay made from viton which is remarked as being longer lasting than the original rubber.I replaced all of mine, as i was of the opinion that one was leaking than others were sure to be in a similar condition.I removed the inlet manifold for better access.
The fuel shut off valve also developed a leak which was through body not a seal, the cost of this item was £115,hoses range in price from £5 to £8.
Once all hoses fitted it showed up my battery was useless because it did not have the charge to keep turning the engine over long enough to purge the lines of air.
