Can anyone help?

I may have the opportunity to get a well respected brake manufacturer to produce replacement front discs for the W211 E63. We all know how expensive these are with the only aftermarket replacements available in the US.

In order for the company to produce these, they need an example disc for about 8 weeks. I can't have mine off the road for that long, so was hoping someone may have an old one knocking around that they may want to sell?

If your interested in a pair of these discs, then let me know as I will make arrangements for them to produce enough for us all. One benefit is that any subsequent replacement would only need the outer disc and not the bell housing.

So, who's in?

What kind of cost are we talking?

Not many e63's even exist!

Early (not confirmed yet) price indication from them is £950 for a pair.

Not sure if the disc is shared with any other AMG model?

They are six pots

The advert that seems to have appeared in my original post is not the company I'm talking to. Not sure how that got there.

Not at that stage yet. The above is what they have given me. I can talk to them more about that once im in a position to go ahead.Might not happen if I can't get a disc to them.

Most of these brake companies have the disks in stock and they just turn them down, possibly machine a bell to suit, can you not just give them a cast disk for dimensions ? I am sure not all 6 pot calipers came with composite brakes, just a thought, certainly would be intrested in some 8 pot ones, let me know how you get on anyway please.

I'm discussing if there are any other ways for them to get the accurate measurements, including having the car for a while.

Will certainly let you know how it goes.

Tbh Mercedes oem ones can be had for around £1100-£1200 ish(roughly i'v not bought them yet that is just a ball park) and there are 2 companys i'v spoken to who both have quoted around £950-£1000 delivered for the front discs

Racing brake and evosport

might save you alot of hassle and time
