Who's placed a C63/s order ??

The car hasn't left Germany yet so its not something on the UK dealers side.

Most likely cause is that the guys at Bremen had a few drinks at lunchtime to celebrate the pending holidays, got carried away doing donuts and burn outs in my newly built car around the employee car park and probably damaged a panel by losing control - so it needs to be redone.

I think that is the most feasible thing to have happened

No problems at all. Let us know if you've any problems. There's instructions on the site but for Comand 4.5, the newer 5.0 in these cars seems a lot easier still.

I'll take a pint of Shell V Power Nitro+ please. Car gets thirsty

I have noticed that when you first get in the car it doesn't show these personal POI's automatically - you need to zoom in or out (just the once, either way) before they'll show. Do you find that?

Cannot say I zoomed in and out. Maybe depends on what level of zoom you have set in the first place but either way all working nicely

Yeah the V Power doesn't last long. Done a good few trips in the last few days with the kids as off work this week and had to fill up twice. Around half way through my run in now but not sure if works going to give me a chance to clock up a few miles for a bit. So the other half might take a while.

Saw an M4 today. He seemed to want to go for it but I couldn't embarrass him yet

So still no sign of my car yet - some issues at the factory supposedly - no idea what that might be but my car has not left there yet - it was meant to have been built on August 14th, finished on 19th but obviously I am not 100% on that. Dealer says they will recheck status next week.

Dealer is being very good though as they have basically bought my 507 already but are letting me continue to use it for the foreseeable...

That's not good, and if it was finished on 19th I'd expect it to be here (assuming it's German built, not sure if C-classes are?).

Yes German built - well I believe it is, at Bremen.

Based on your delivery and build - clearly there is something up with my car or the production of them, as I should of had it by now. Where is JBD when you need him

Thanks, although if you remember I found colour choice almost impossible. I couldn't decide between the two reds and the blue, and I was designed to have a tinge of regret with any.

What I really wanted was the half alcanatra interior, which kind of ruled the blue out as they didn't do an interior with blue stitching. In hindsight, the yellow stitched interior probably would've worked quite well with blue. In the end I went for the safe option and settled for the normal red (the sportier of the two reds....Hyacinth is a bit too coppery for my liking) and red stitched alcantara interior. I do like your blue aswell though!

How does it do against a stock M4? How does a remapped M4 do against a remap C63? Kinda pointless comparing like you have.

Ordered in May and had several confirmations that it did indeed make the cut and still was coming with the 360 camera and black wheels - allegedly no issues with the spec. I have a chassis number and it was in the system as build date 14th August and all was on track then but seems to have gone pear-shaped since then....
