Who's your car insured by ?

Saga: fully comp, £350 excess, NCD protected, garaged, no claims/convictions, 6k miles pa - £93.48.

Second year with them after AA would not match them despite all being the same group - Acromas.

Premium just keeps going down! I won't be happy until I get 'em below 80 squids. :D

Is that 'agreed value' though? You're going to be mighty miffed if it gets wrote-off through no fault of yours and they give you market value. £1200 tops.
Even my 107 smoker is insured for £15000, premium £187 with 5000mls. Fully comp, garaged, NCB non-applicable because of main vehicle.

No agreed value. It's my only car and not old enough for "classic" status.

S'pose I'll just have to take my chances. :(

:thumb:Aviva for me could not believe the quote I go from them
Well Happy and a great company to deal with so far

1 with LV and agreed value. 1 with NFU - more expensive but one of the view to provide full unlimited EU cover at a reasonable price. SLK is with Saga. Really good price and following a minor non fault accident they have been excellent.

Thank you

A HUGE thank you to all of you who have commented

LV it is then, along with a Baby Oleg meerkat :bannana:

just changed from LV after a claim, someone changed lanes and forced me off the road, even though i had a witness it took over 2 years to settle and that was due to LV not giving solicitors the witness statement.
soon as they gave them the statement it was sorted in less than 6 weeks

I'm with aviva, they made an admin mistake in April putting a nonexistent non fault claim in my name without even informing me. After hours of speaking to customer services, raising a formal complaint etc. I'm still waiting for it to be removed from my name (it is showing on the shared insurance database).

I spoke to someone yesterday who seems like he knows what he is doing, let's see if I hear back from him next week as promised, if not, it won't be the first time a promised phone call hasn't developed.

I am with Aviva, and just got a substantial discount on my renewal quote after achieving a high score with the Aviva Driving App. Good one, Aviva.

Transfered the LV policy from the Shogun when I bought the car in Feb. Added a named driver for no additional cost. Will have to see how LV fare when it comes to the renewal but no complaints so far.

LV for me as well, I changed to them this year for the RS I also insured the Merc with them

Admiral had 6 cars on one multi car policy 2 high performance 1 heavily modified 2 volvo sand a Fiat Punto includes my 21 year old daughter on both volvos and Punto and SWMBO on all cars

I can't find anyone to beat them even at renewal time, now down to 4 cars so just waiting for a premium adjustment from them. The thing I like about the policy is you can add and delete cars with no admin fee and we all covered for Europe as long as the stay is mot over 90 days

Aviva have beaten admiral for me the last two years on four, then five cars.

I think LV are one of the few (maybe only) insurer that will extend your 3rd party cover to another car being driven by but not owned by you even if that car is not insured.
Are you sure? I have been told that by law the other car must also have current insurance.

Lots of support for Aviva and LV. I found them both to be higher premiums than Privilege on my ML.

It's the young driver on the policy that does it Aviva aren't good with young drivers also when we had the garage business they were the worst to deal with and would look for any loophole not to pay out

Just renewed with More Than, £186 for the year (44 year old with 6 speeding points) for my C63.

I always use a comparison site prior to renewal, this year More Than were as cheap as anyone else, happy days.

I'm currently with Direct Line but I tend to switch every year... Always tend to get silly renewal prices.

I don't tend to go for the cheapest quote, I tend to go for lowest price mainstream company.
