will these Rims fit my 210 ?

have a set of winter Tyres (225 45 17 ) and have been offered a set of Evo merc Alloys 17 (PCD 112 ) 7J with an ET of 57
I am wondering will that combination fit my 2001 S210 Estate ? I know the PCD is fine and that 225 is the max permissible on a 7J but its the offset that is hard to fathom out
which according to alloy wheels direct should be 16 X 7.5 =41 or 17 X 7.5 =37
will they fit ? will they stick out slightly more as the offsett is bigger ?
help anyone....

57 is a huge offset. They will go in further so will likely foul the suspension on lock. Check also when the wheelbolt dia was changed from 12mm to 14mm as earlier rims wont work if you have 14mm bolts. W211 have 14mm but unsure of when they changed that.

OK think I've got it now I dont want anything that sits further in , slightly more out is my preference looking at some alternatives and using the calculator on this site Online Wheel and Tyre Fitment Calculator. Offset, Tyre Stretch and Speedo Error | Will They Fit
Got to be 17's so i can use the winter tyres and a Rim from 7-8.5J will fit a 225
Just style and price now
