LOOKS TIDY BUT WHY BOTHER. I wonder like neilrr if its been rebodied after a "frontal" Although the seller says the parts used were all genuine merc he doesnt say they were "NEW" parts. The SL 600 and AMG badges say it all. its probably a HEINZ 57 variety car. Reminds me of a car dealer of my youth who was affectionately known locally as "cocoa bill" since cocoa tins were a major source of his body repair sheet metal.

Does remind me of the W210 conversions that were available for the W124. Very expensive to convert at the time but nobody wants them now.

Seems a fair job however it's money down the drain in the long term.

I don't think they've actually done a conversion for about 18 months. They're not very popular and they are clearing out the last two kits.

Yup, it's been re-listed with a few more details - it's an SL320 and not an "SL600 AMG" at all . 2 prev. owners, 53k miles.
