Being thick again here, trying to assess whether the front screen has been replaced on my newly acquired CLC 180 k, what are the things to look for on the factory fitted screen, is it the same as the details on my XJ. reg number etched in every screen. Advice pleas guy's . Thanks

Just look inside the car ,under carpets on the lip of dash board , up above the foot well .Your looking for glass thats been left behind.

Cheers guy's, having the screen removed and replaced, hoping this will solve it

The bottom number on all the info should be the same, this indicates the year the glass/car was made. On mine there's a 5 indicating 2005.

Check against all the other windows.
