They are indeed mate. They come with a carry bag as well should you want to take them off and store them.

For the money I think they’re really good and good quality too.

Not all at, I personally think it enhances the look and helps with security, plus less sunlight directly in the kids eyes

You need to check that the film blocks UV as well as visible light. Worst thing is having having your pupils wide open and been bombarded by UV. Lots of cheap sunglasses had this problem.

Hi Alex225, I am enquiring how do the blinds actually fit. do they clip in the widow channel or fasten to the rubber seal, on mine the w204 61plate the door rubber is covered mostly by a plastic trim.
Cheers.

On my E there are some little clips that hold the blind within the window frame. This enables you to open the windows in the back should you need to. The rears are made of two parts which clip together and again some clips that slide above the roof lining. Nothing harsh that would damage the car though.

For the CLS' rear windows, there's a little plastic hook that is attached to the black pillar of the window by a sticky pad. I was a little sceptical of this when I first fitted them but despite my other half using her car daily, they've stayed put remarkably well. I have two kids one a year nearly and one five, ideal for keeping them in shade as kids don't keep sunglasses on! haha

That looks great

Hi all, I actually went to the factory this morn where they make them. despite the freezing cold, the guy actually braved the cold and fitted them for me. big thanks to Carshades at Bilsthorpe. Nottingham.

Hi Alex225, ordered my car shades. should be here Saturday morn.

Hey mate, I'm glad you're pleased with them. As an alternative to tints I think they're great, all the benefits that bit cheaper and can take them off as you want. I haven't removed mine since fitting.

Look great on your car! :)

Cheers Alex225, big thanks for mentioning them. would never have thought of shades as an alternative to tinting and a fraction of the price.:thumb:.

Any time mate. Glad you're as pleased as I am with the ones I got. :)

I did get some quotes around £120-150 in the Bolton / Manchester area. I got quotes from Luna Window Tinting in Walkden and Tint Master UK in Bolton. I found both companies on Facebook.

I'm still in two minds of getting it done on my car as i'm not sure if tinted windows would look good on a tanzanite Blue car with Chrome Window trim! I think if my C class was White, silver or Grey then the tints would look good.

Although I might go with Alex's suggestion above.

Hi, I went with Alex's suggestion and I am well impressed at a fraction of the cost. also if you sell the car you can remove them and sell them on. if you go to the factory, they will fit them while you wait at no extra cost.
