windscreen washers not working w209 clk

Hope someone can help!

About a year ago one of my windscreen washer jets stopped working. The water was still coming through but with no preasure so I took tge jet off and tried to clear it but ended up having to buy a new one at £50 awch.

Now a year after both jets are not working, and as before the water still comes through but not enough to hit the windscreen. The problem seems to be with the jets and not the pump because when i remove the jets the water has a good preasure leaving the pipes.

Can anyone help?

I had the very same problem, check the pipe is not being pinched inbetween the body work and the bonnet.

I had a similar problem last year. After investigating I found the pipe had come adrift from a connector under the rear boot (W211 estate). Possibly caused by using the rear w/wipe when frozen

Cont... The water hits 3ft in the air. the last time i had this prob a new jet at £50 fixed it but im not happy buying another two.

2nd idea, could the washer fluid clogged up the nozzel and thus a good ramming with a pin in the hole would clear??

I tried to blow high pressure air down the jet and the air seemed to come through but still seems to be clogged or ?

Defo try the 'pin in the ole' before buying a new set!

Still no joy, i've taken the washers off the car and tried sticking a wire in both ends with no success. Even tried putting then in boiling water with bleach and even tried Coke but still not working.

Anyone any ideas before i get the drill out?
