Winter tyres

Ok I know we are heading into the summer, but being used to 4x4 s ,I have now a rear wheel drive , could anyone recommend decent winter tyres , as I want to get some wheels and tyres sorted out before winter

Dave, not sure on best option for your S Class but we have run a RWD estate car on Bridgestone Blizzak tyres through the last 2 winters and it has performed admirably with no issues or stoppages. The best suggestion would be to find some wheels which fit and then read the winter tyre threads to identify the best tyre option for your car.

Thanks for the reply Dave, I have found some wheels, it's just which tyres, it's a bit a minefield when it comes to choosing a particular brand, I was hoping for a good recommendation

Vredestein Wintrac Xtreme's, you won't have any problems with them.
