Wood steering wheel C Class

If you look closely you can see the wheel and the are different shades of black.

Will this fit my W124 E280? I have a jet black steering wheel with SRS airbag - same style as the pic but mine somehow looks darker.

Here is the pic:

This is why I'm really going off my blue interior! I'd love a new steering wheel but it would look silly with an otherwise blue dashboard etc :(

The E280 I had previously had a Blue leather interior (including dashtop) with a black leather steering wheel, it looked ok.

I'm after a new steering wheel for the W140 in this style, are the wheels from C and E classes of the same era interchangeable?

£77 after just 2 bids  The eBay newbies of this world will be pushing the price of this baby sky high :D

Ive bought a few bits from a guy in germany and he will supply me these wheels Brand New halfwood\leather for £200, Im going to go for one myself. May be its just me but Im not too keen on buying a second hand airbag anyway, Id rather just use mine.

wood steering wheel and airbag for 77 pounds is a bargain!

Over 3 days to go. That will definitely not end at £77 :)

Dronsfields are selling it. Why not call them and ask for the price of a similar wheel. Might just find that the wheel advertised comes down in price.

Are these smaller in diameter than a pre 96 SL. Mines not bad but is a tad on the lorry side

No, they are 390mm, it does look nice but as you say, truck wheel comes to mind. Its the one thing that really annoys me about my ce.

Mind you, the guy who bought it joined 2 days ago and hasnt bought a thing yet,.... hopefully it will be seen again on ebay :bannana:

Then again i could just be being cynical

My friend's bought it, i was going to bid on his behalf but he's set up his own id. He was going to bid over £300 for it! So definately a bargain for him.

Definitely VFM :)

Are the wooden wheels a precious commodity on W202s then?
