Worn Steering wheel leather! (With picture)

Hello Guys,
My c180 2003 Steering wheel became very worn, I have attached the picture as well.
I have tried to clean it many times, but the leather itself became worn.
Please advice?
I have a wood finish in the dashboard, do you know any good wooden covers for the wheel, or can someone replace the leather without going into the hassle of changing the steering wheel.
And the last question please … wheel is having a grinding sound when I steer!
Very annoying, any Idea why is that?

I ask as I might have one in my garage in reasonable condition...

Your noise is likely to be low power steering fluid or worn lower ball joints.

Fluid sounds like a goaning noise and ball joints are more of a metallic creaking sound. Both can be quite loud.

Looks perfectly OK in the picture, just a bit shiny. What are you cleaning it with as it shouldn't wear when you clean it.

I will take a full picture and post it today .
I usually clean it with non alcohol based wipes ( water based wipes ) .
Could u please post a picture of the steering wheel that u have ?
