Worst Driving Habits

I witnessed this the other day going up to the college rounabout in Yeovil, 56 plate Audi trying to push in but the old 406 wasn't having any of it, resault crumpled Audi wing  :
Had a similar incident recently but fortunately the jerk in Civic(I think) ran out of nerve before I did . That was always a certainty as I wasn't going to give in, but it was a very close call.
Also there is way too many "girl/boy racers" in Yeovil there bl**dy everywhere...

Driving E280 estates perhaps?;)

They don't make bodykits for my car  I would have to get a custom jobby...

Still, I can cut the springs to lower the car.... ;) :p

And I would need a thing with a baseball cap the wrong way round sitting in my passenger seat doing the "churchhill nodding dog" impression to some gangster rap plus his "homies" or "crew" and their bitches....

"M to the Benz Massive"

I don't have any ;)

.... And I'm thankful!

You could still find an AMG kit for your w124 estate Hannah if you hunted around enough .....

You wouldn't need to cut the springs, lots of lowering kits for w124's around ;)

Like those wheels, like the car, yum yum!

Another irritating driving habit:

Driving into peoples fences and driving off!!!!!

People who drive on your rear end! Kinda makes me laugh as if anything happened it would be there fault.

I tend to go s-l-o-w-e-r just to get them to back off or annoy them, they ain't gonna intimidate ME!!! I'll give as good as I get!

How about people who drive into your rear end. Happened to me last year, some stupid woman with her Chelsea tractor, when I was standing still at a pedestrian crossing in central London.

On a sunny day.

She still did not spot me, let alone stop, despite central London being the busy place it is.

Then, after she had rear ended me, I got out, went over, she lowered her window and started... abusing me!

As if it was my fault that she went into me - not like I had stopped suddenly or anything.

In any event, she did end up paying ;)

People who who turn/indicate left then proceed to swing out to the right as much as they can and then turn left bugs me a bit, especially when I can go round the same turning without any of the dramatics of scaring the cr*p out of oncoming motorists.

:D :D This is quite a common sight in the summer months.

Drivers that insist on holding onto the roof of the car with their right hand whilst driving. Is it that the roof might lift off? They have their hand resting on the top of the window and the elbow on the door frame.  When changing gear or going around hazards the roof is usually still insecure and that hand will not budge

People on the motorway you pass on cruise control, they then overtake you, pull in front, slow down, you go past (still at the same speed) again, they overtake again, etc. etc.

... definitely.

plus .....

Those who insist on hitting the brakes on 70mph cameras even if they're doing under 70. (I would make this an offence).

HGV drivers who start an overtaking manuoevre at the bottom of a hill with a 1mph differential on the vehicle ahead and then decide to give up at the top.

People who hog the open road and then after you get past them catch you up again in a 30 or 40 zone several miles further on.

People who won't overtake on a single carriageway road and after you get past them pass you on the next bit of dual carriage way (breaking the limit of course) and then block you behind the next truck once off the dual carriageway.

Stupid people do this for all speed cameras e.g. they slow down to 20 or 25 if they see one in a 30 zone. And they stand on the brakes for the flashing "slow down" signs (probably thinking they are also cameras ), even if they're only crawling along to start off with.

On a similar theme to the other one you mentioned - people who zoom along in a straight line but treat every corner like it's covered with sheet ice. So you are stuck behind them for miles because every time there's somewhere you could safely overtake they speed up

I'll have a look around Yeovil for your 124 :) and give you a toot if I see you..

My car's off the road at the moment due to a petrol leak :(

I almost landed up some ones rear end last week because they did that to me,I was overtaking a few cars and lorry's all spread out on a duel carriageway when one of the cars decided to pull out in front of me to overtake as well (I was doing about 25mph more than they were)Anyway I managed to slow down in time not to hit him,for him then to notice me at last, up close and personal so he decided to brake hard:mad:  to get me to back off.Makes me wish I didn't slow down and just waste him.

A piccie of your car would be good, it looks like the colour is Bornite which is possibly the best colour for a 124 bodied car. Nice.

It does look purple, but it's not as purple as it appears in the pic. More a dusky lilac with a hint of brown.. :)

I love the colour :)
