Can you name the films from which the following stills have been taken?

All are from feature films (not TV series/movies). Extra points if you can also name the character or actor driving the MB in each instance.

A. James bond, The Spy Who Loved Me ?

C. The Quiller Memorandum, with George Segal at the wheel ?

D: The Big Sleep.

Well done to stwat, Dryce and Ringway!

Four correct guesses so far (plus one correct driver):

A: On Her Majesty's Secret Service
C: The Quiller Memorandum [George Segal]
D: The Big Sleep (1978)
F: The Marathon Man

B and E still to get... :)

It is not George Segull driving that car,(having only watched it the other day) that is his aid Hengar!! dont know his real name.

Doh! Yes, the car was driven by Hengel (played by Peter Carsten). He was following Segal, who was driving the red Porsche.

And yes, it was Robert Mitchum in picture D. :)

So is F Dustbin Hoffman or Sir laurence Olivier?

Is E the modern film with Tom Cruise in about assasinating Hitler? Valkerie?

I believe that 'DDR' is post-war East Germany...

Deutsche Demokratische Republik

B if from this film:

Die Screaming, Marianne (1971) - IMDb

But I must admit to googling, never heard of this film before...

Well done, markjay. That was the most obscure of the six, although it does have a firm following amongst fans of the British exploitation horror film era. Worth watching for Susan George alone... :)

It's the film I don't remember.

Susan George - her I do remember...:)

Gotcha!

E is:

Funeral in Berlin (1966) - IMDb

So it would be Michael Caine in the back of the East-German taxi, though who played the taxi driver I can't really say....
