Does anyone know the kerb weight (inc. fluids) of the 190 16v? Some Google references tell me the base 190 was 1170kg and that the 16v ~25kg heavier? This seems rather light to me. Is this true? Thanks.

Can anyone one confirm whether Mercedes had the W201 2.5 16v tweaked/tuned by Cosworth? I was under the impression that it was only the 2.3 that was the 'genuine' Cosworth, so to speak. If anyone has the answer it would end a prolonged disagreement...

Bodykit and interior look okay. If the engine, gearbox and exhaust manifold are all good it's got to be a cheap breaker or a nice swap-the-bits project for someone?

I've got the chance to buy a 190e 2.3 for a good price, it needs a bit of tidying but I've always fancied one so I thought it'd be a good introduction to the cars. What I'd like to know is how much can I get (rough figures) if it came to me stripping it for parts after I'd had my fun? Thanks.
